Certificate in Child and Family Psychotherapy  

This multi-faceted program gives the experienced therapist an opportunity
for specialization in work with children and families.

Therapists seeking certification will be asked to complete 200 hours of course work and supervision, including a year of Infant Observation. Students must also have completed one year of analytic psychotherapy, which consists of a minimum of twice weekly sessions.

Psychotherapy 1: Introduction to British Object Relations
Year-long course, 30 sessions
Psychotherapy 2b: Infant Observation
Psychotherapy 3b: Child Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy
Year-long course, 18 sessions
Psychotherapy 3c: Working Analytically with Parent/Infant (supplemental)
Year-long course, 18sessions
Psychotherapy 4: Shapers of Contemporary Psychoanalysis
Year-long course, 18 sessions
Clinical Case Seminar: Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Clinical Case Seminar
Year-long course, 18 sessions

Supervision
2 case supervisions are required.
